An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

Gaelscoil na Mara invites applications for the position of part-time bus escort. Candidates are required to have experience working with children.
The position is for approximately 3 hours per day in accordance with the school calendar. Rate of pay: €13.40 per hour
Bus escort will be required to meet the driver at the school at approx. 7:30 am daily to arrive at school at 8:30 am.
The afternoon run begins at 13:00 and finishes at 15:00.

The escort is responsible for the safety of the children on board the bus and will be required to provide pupil care needs including but not limited to assisting the pupils getting and off the bus, securing seat belts etc. Relevant experience would be highly desirable.
Appointment is subject to Garda vetting, Children First online training and appropriate character references.
