An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

This position is a part-time position (0.5 of a post - 3 hours, 12 mins per day)

SN Chiaráin Naofa is a co-educational primary school located in the village of Stoneyford, Co. Kilkenny. The school comprises 5 mainstream classes and 2 special classes. The school has a current enrolment of 138 pupils. There are 10 teachers, 5 SNA's, a secretary, caretaker and Principal on staff.

The successful candidate will work in our special class for children with a Moderate General Learning Disability. Experience of working with children with Down syndrome and/or in an ASD settings would be an advantage.
