An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

There is a total of one permanent teaching post available in this school.

Three maternity leave teaching posts are also available, at least one of which will last for a full school year.
St. Michael's House Grosvenor School, Leopardstown Road, Dublin 18 D18 KR 80 is a Special School for pupils aged four to eighteen years with a Moderate General Learning Disability (8 students per class), some of whom are on the Autistic Spectrum, 6 students per class. ( We also have classes for pupils with a severe Learning Disability). There are two special needs assistants in most classes.
All qualified primary teachers are eligible to work in this school. Other teachers, registered with the Teaching Council, may also be eligible. This is a Droichead school: a teacher's probationary period can be completed in this school with the assistance and support of senior teachers.
