POST DETAILS
Panel of Applicants:
An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
One post is a part-time SNA position, one full day a week.
The second post is also a part-time position consisting of 16 hours over 5 days each week.
Both positions are subject to NCSE allocation and SENO review. Appointment is subject to candidates having minimum qualifications. satisfactory references, current Garda vetting requirements and occupational health screening.
The successful candidates must display a strong work ethic, flexibility and the initiative to work independently and as part of a team. They must show a willingness to be involved in school activities. They must always respect the dignity and confidentiality of the pupils and avail of on-going further training. A kind, playful, patient, professional, energetic attitude and a willingness to undertake CPD are essential.
