An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

Kolbe is a special school catering for pupils with a severe and profound learning disability and those with an additional dagnosis of autism.
Kolbe has a student population of 45 pupils, 10 teachers, 23 SNAs, 13 Bus Escorts, 2 Nurses, caretaker and secretary.
The successful candidate must be able to work well as part of a team, have a strong work ethic and display a commitment to the ethos of the school.
All appointments are subject to sanction from the Department of Education.
