An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

This is a maternity leave cover for Junior Infants to 2nd class until the end of the 2024-25 school year. It will initially be an Acting Deputy Principal post and will progress to Acting Principal after a number of weeks.

Experience of a leadership role, teaching in a multi-grade setting, teaching infants and also of preparing children for the sacraments of First Penance and First Holy Communion desirable but not essential.

Candidates called to interview will be required to provide proof of qualifications, and Teaching Council registration.
