An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
The Role of the SNA is as set out in DES Circular 30/2014.
- Minimum Level 6 Qualification in Special Needs Assistance is essential. The National SNA Training Programme Level 7 qualification will be an advantage.
-Autism specific training is advantageous.
-Training and experience in areas such as LÁMH, PECS, ABA, MAPA is preferable.
