Additional Information:
The Board of Management of Knocknagree national school invites applications for the position of Deputy Principal. Knocknagree National School is a Roman Catholic school with 4 mainstream classes and 1 Special Education teacher under the patronage of the Bishop of Kerry.
The Deputy Principal will work with the Principal and the in-school management team to ensure the effective management of the school. The roles and responsibilities of this post are aligned to the four domains as outlined in Circular 0044/2019 and the recently updated 'Looking at Our Schools' document 2022.
The four domains of leadership are as follows:
1. Leading Teaching and Learning
2. Managing the Organisation
3. Leading School Development
4. Developing Leadership Capacity
Applicants must hold a recognised Certificate to teach Religious Education

current and continuing Teaching Council Registration, satisfactory references and proof of
qualifications.
